This is the house situated furthest south and takes its name from the tall ash trees or "freixes" that can be seen from its windows, the old openings of the barns that have maintained their original shapes.
The original south facing openings conserved and made into windows makes El Freixer the lightest of the three farmhouses.
The house consists of a lower floor with a fully equipped kitchen (gas rings, an electric oven, fridge freezer and washing machine) a dining area and a sitting room with open fire and TV.
On the first floor you will find the bedrooms; a romantic double room with one double bed and another triple bedroom, (the blue room) with two singles beds below and another bed on a mezzanine floor. There is also a bathroom on the first floor.
The combination of wood and stone, mixing the traditional with the modern creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Apart from the house itself you can also enjoy an outside table and chairs immediately in front of the house, a swimming pool and a barbeque for the warm weather and the fire place for mulling over old stories late in to the winter nights. All together El Freixer is an invitation to live a very special and different experience. |
